Day 16

I've been bad! I haven't been keeping up with my journal this week. I have been doing very well though. I'm down 12 lbs already since the beginning of the challenge. I took pictures on thursday and I can see a little bit of a difference. I do feel a difference; all my clothes are baggy on me. I worked out at the NWLC boot camp yesterday and today I am sore! I went off my diet last night for dinner. I'll do better today.

Day 10

I did not workout today. :( It's back to work again tomorrow. I haven't decided whether I'm going to the gym in the morning. Even if I can't do my group fitness class, I could probably get away with the eliptical or treadmill. I'd really like to do the Group Power class. We'll see. Todays meals were:

9:00 am Coffee, half a banana, and Cheese Omlet 310
1:00 pm Sugar-free Rice Pudding & Slimfast 250
4:30 pm Cheddar mashed potatoes 210
7:00 pm Roast Beef & Cheddar Swch and Sugar-free Chocolate pudding 390

Grand Total: 1160 calories

I felt like I was better able to spread out my calories today. The last couple days, most of my intake was at dinner. So I feel I did a little better today. I can't wait to be able to eat normally again.

I was able to work out today! I did yoga and some strength training. I also tried eating some actual solid food. Today's meals were:

9:30 am Slimfast 180
1:00 pm Slimfast 180
4:30 pm Cherries and Yogurt 155
7:30 pm Turkey & Swiss Croissant & V8 juice 495

Grand Total: 1010 calories

I'll be working out again tomorrow. Also, I'm going to try and eat a few more calories. I'd really like to be able to stay between 1500 and 1200 a day. Hope you are all doing well with your workouts and diets! See you tomorrow!

Day 8

Well, I was late for the seminar today, so I wasn't able to attend after all. I was able to eat a little more today, but my meals were mostly mashed potatoes and slim fast. The slim fast was mainly so I could get a little nutrition. My calorie count for the day was 970. I can't wait until I can work out again! I'm going to try and do some yoga, since it's not really high intensity. I hope you are all doing well with your diets. Keep up the good work!!

Day 7

Today I had surgery! I have four less wisdom teeth now. I did not go to spin class this morning because I wasn't allowed to drink anything. Eating wasn't really an option until this evening, so my calorie intake for the day was only 335. Tomorrow, eating should be a little easier. I'm not allowed to work out, so unfortunately, I won't be joining you for boot camp tomorrow. I will, however, be joining everyone for the seminar at 12:00. See you then!

Oh no. I missed my alarm this morning and didn't make it to my favorite group fitness class. I was really disappointed, but I did great on my diet. Todays meals were:

7:30 am English Muffin w/Egg and Ham 235
10:00 am SK Protein water 30
1:00 pm Triscuit crackers (6) 120
2:00 pm SK Protein water 30
3:00 pm Low sodium Tomato Soup & Carrots 155
5:00 pm Banana, Strawberries, & Non-fat Cottage Cheese 200
8:30 pm Triscut crackers (6) & Lowfat Cheddar Cheese 210

Grand Total: 980 calories

I didn't really feel like eating much today. I started antibiodics yesterday and I had to keep reminding myself to eat. When I did feel hungry, I tried not to gorge myself. I know my intake was low today, but it wasn't on purpose. I calculated my calories for the day at 7 pm and realized how little I'd eaten. So I had one more snack before bed. Tomorrow holds a little bit of excitement. See you then!

Another great day. I started out my morning in Group Power and was successful with my diet all day. Today's meals were as follows:

8:30 AM Coffee w/ non-fat, non-dairy creamer 40
10:30 AM Apple Slices & SK Protein Water 90
12:30 PM Crustless Quiche & 3 Triscuit Crackers 281
4:30 PM Cottage Cheese, Jello, & Strawberries 105
6:00 PM SK Protein Water 30
7:00 PM Crustless Quiche & 6 Triscuit Crackers 341

Grand Total: 1242 calories

I've been drinking a lot of water. I had at least 5 bottles of water today (1 pint each). I'm finding that when I focus on planning my meals, I don't have the urge to cheat. I really don't feel like I'm depriving myself. Everyone else, keep up the good work. Hope tomorrow is another great day!

Okay, off to a good start. I made it to spin class this morning. When I woke up, I was still sore from Saturday's workout, but I feel a lot better now. I did well on my diet. This is how it went:

7:30 am Ham & Cheese Eggwhite omlet w/salsa & 1 slice of toast 255 calories
8:30 am Coffee (w/non-fat non-dairy half & half) 40 calories
9:30 am SK protein water & carrots 65 calories
10:30 am Banana 70 calories
12:30 pm Greek Chicken Wrap approx 395 calories
3:30 pm SK protein water 30 calories
4:00 pm Cherries, Jello, & Cottage Cheese 160 calories
7:30 pm Small Whole wheat bagel & Peanut Butter 200 calories
Total: 1, 215 calories

My weight this morning was 173. I'll be weighing in weekly on Mondays. Can't wait for tomorrow. Bye for now!
